Daring dresses, bold makeup, and elegant hairstyles rule award show looks, often forcing smaller beauty details, like nail color, to take a backseat. However, celebrities tend to have a keen sense of style when it comes to their manicures, even if they choose to wear a softer shade on the red carpet. Kristen Bell's nail polish is the understated color you'll want to stock up on for the new year — it goes with everything.

Bell walked the blue carpet at the Critics' Choice Awards in Santa Monica on Sun. to support her co-stars from The Good Place. The actor opted to complement the carpet in a bold, cobalt gown by Cushnie that featured a square neckline, a mesh insert, and a flowing hem. She was adorned in luxe jewels by David Webb, Jimmy Choo heels, and a Judith Leiber box clutch.

In an effort to keep with her breezy beauty routine that consisted of windswept waves, glossy lips, and a glowing highlight, she completed the look with long, rounded nails that were painted in a blush color and coated with an extra-shiny finish.

Celebrity nail artist, Emi Kudo, used ZOYA products to achieve the actor's high-shine manicure. She began by prepping Bell's nails with ZOYA’s Naked Manicure Hydrate & Heal System to moisturize, followed by the strengthening Naked Manicure Base Coat.

She then applied a single coat of the brand's nail lacquer in Sari — a soft, powdery pink — before sealing her work with the Naked Manicure Glossy Seal. Kudo used a few of ZOYA's Fast Drops to help Bell's nails dry as quickly as possible.

Bell's pink tone is an elevated version of a traditional nude, keeping your nails natural-looking with an added element of sophistication. No matter the season, you'll want to paint and repaint your nails this soft color all year long.
