Kendall Jenner's Zip-Off Jeans Are Very, Very, Very Expensive

New York Fashion Week has a way of delivering some of the most unforeseen trends of the season. Of course, this year is no different — on and off the runway. The latest celebrity street style moment that's brought a new trend to light? Kendall Jenner's zip-off jeans — which may very well be the surprising piece you experiment with this fall.

Although Jenner has reportedly chosen not to walk in any shows this season, she has been photographed throughout the week in a handful of chic off-duty outfits. On Saturday, the model walked the streets of Soho in a pair of Balenciaga zip-off jeans and singlehandedly proved cargo-inspired pants should be on your radar.

Just shy of $2,000, these designer jeans aren't exactly a no-brainer buy, but the attention to detail and unique structure make them an incredibly special piece. And just like the cargo pants you owned many moons ago, Jenner's denim can be zipped off into a pair of vintage-looking shorts.

Jenner paired her denim with a simple, pastel-yellow turtleneck top and white sneakers for a subtle, athletic flare. She completed the casual ensemble with effortlessly windswept hair parted to the side.

Jenner is known for weaving in an unconventional piece to an otherwise laid-back look. Just over the weekend, the model was photographed wearing knee-high, slouchy boots with a silky blazer dress and biker shorts at the launch of Russell James' new book, Angels.
