The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge helped put smiles on a few lucky kids' faces during a visit to Evelina London children's hospital on Tues., and Kate Middleton's green polka dot dress will help put a smile on yours, too. Nobody has mastered the art of holiday dressing quite like the Duchess. The festive frock she just wore to her charitable outing makes for the ideal party piece.

There's perhaps only one person the young patients of Evelina London want to see more than Santa, and it's Kate Middleton. On Tues., their wish was granted when the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William stopped by to mingle and help the children with their holiday crafts.

Once again, Middleton pulled off the most perfect holiday-themed ensemble. This time, she wore a hunter-green silk midi dress by L.K. Bennett covered in charming white polka dots. The long-sleeved number is fitted at the waist, lending to its elegant A-line silhouette. It features pretty pearl buttons up the front and a feminine pussy-bow neckline in classic Middleton style.

The Duchess accessorized with an olive-green khaki clutch and matching suede heels, both of which she wore during her trip to visit UK military members deployed in Cyprus a week before.

Middleton has been slaying her holiday looks lately. She wore a festive, plaid pleated skirt to a gathering she and Prince William recently hosted for military families at Kensington Palace. Then, a day later, she arrived on the Mediterranean island in Meghan Markle-inspired wide-leg trousers and an army-green blazer.

In Nov., the trendsetter wore a winter-ready pleated coat dress by one of her favorite designers, Catherine Walker. She's been a big fan of the designer behind her latest outfit for years, too.

In 2012, L.K. Bennett sold out of a teal peplum skirt suit within hours of Middleton wearing it to the Queen's jubilee tour in Leicester. Later, the Duchess wore a famous white dress with blue poppies by the designer to the couple's royal tour of Australia and New Zealand in 2014 (which she sported again during a hospice visit in 2016).

The latest polka dot frock is the perfect pick for your upcoming holiday party. It's just festive enough to be called holiday-themed without going too overboard.
