Emma Roberts’ Green Eyeshadow Will Convince You To Trade Out Your Neutral Shades

Share

From runways to Instagram feeds, green continues its reign as one of the top, must-try trends of the season. While neon or slime green hit a fever pitch over the winter, muted hues like mint and sage have begun to emerge, but Emma Robert's green eyeshadow might have you ready to give emerald a whirl.

The American Horror Story star stepped out in Madrid on Weds. to attend the Tous jewelry and Elle party celebrating her Stay Tender campaign for the brand's SS19 collection. The new face and ambassador of the century-old Spanish jewelry company, Roberts looked elegant in a sheer, floor-length vintage dress.

Adorned in whimsical Tous jewels ranging the colors of the rainbow, Roberts' dazzling eyeshadow was a stunning addition to the romantic look. "Gorgeous @emmaroberts with a bejewelled eye tonight. Loved doing this intense Emerald look," makeup artist Lisa Eldridge wrote on Instagram, sharing a close-up shot of the shimmery eye pigment, cueing beauty lovers everywhere to consider experimenting with the opulent tone this season.

The 28-year-old actor added a playful touch by tying her wavy bob up in a half top-knot, rounding it all out with a sparkly maroon micro handbag and open-toe heels.

Paired with a bushy brow and a satin nude lip, the actor's jewel-toned eye was the shining star of the beauty look, pairing flawlessly with her brilliant stones. From further away, the earthy shadow doesn't jump out as overtly vibrant, reading more like a classic smoky eye. If bright eye makeup isn't your usual vibe, a shimmery emerald hue could be an approachable way to step outside of your comfort zone.

Roberts's smoked-out cat-eye shape is an excellent route to take, serving classic glam with a little bit of edge. So, explore The Zoe Report's roundup of green eyeshadows, below, and achieve the dazzling look that feels so royal and modern at the same time.
