The 25th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards boasted one of the most glamorous red (well, silver) carpets of the season. And while some stars opted for fresh-off-the-runway couture gowns that you could only ever dream of owning (looking at you, Lady Gaga), others opted for slightly more attainable pieces you can get your hands on right this very moment. Case in point: Emily Blunt's 2019 SAG Awards shoes, which cost a reasonable $120 and are still in stock.
Blunt stunned at the Jan. 27 awards show in a floor-grazing, crystal-embroidered Michael Kors gown that was the perfect mix of glamorous elegance and understated simplicity. And although the dress' structured ruffle sleeves were the most talked-about detail of the actor's evening look, there's another important element that simply can't be neglected: her $120 Sam Edelman heels.
While it's possible you never laid eyes on Blunt's footwear during Sun. evening's ceremony, her stylist, Jessica Plaster, provided a close-up look of the nominee's accessories — heels included — via an Instagram post. Plaster revealed that the A Quiet Place actor walked the carpet in a pair of super-affordable silver-leather Sam Edelman sandals that definitely deserve a spot in your closet. They're oh-so-chic, insanely comfortable, and won't burn a hole in your bank account.
The Yaro sandal is designed with a thick ankle strap that offers extra support and a chunky block heel that ensures maximum comfort and stability — in other words, they're the perfect, pain-free alternative for anyone who dislikes stilettos. And if the comfort factor isn't enough to fully convince you to add them to your collection ASAP, the shoe's $120 price tag certainly will.
Blunt isn't the first nominee to attend an awards show in wallet-friendly heels — this season alone, countless stars have chosen to forgo big-ticket designers, opting to wear shoes from more affordable brands instead. Lupita Nyong'o, arguably the queen of trendy, inexpensive footwear, showed up to the 2019 Golden Globes in $45 ALDO heels (yes, you read that correctly). Prior to that sighting, she walked another red carpet in $89 Nine West pumps.
Although the SAG Awards silver carpet was sprinkled with affordable fashion moments that deserve mention, there were some, well, pricier ones that were memorable, as well. For example, Britt Baron wore a million-dollar necklace and Jane Fonda accessorized with a $3 million ring. While you likely won't be able to scoop up either of these jewels, you can still get you hands on Blunt's Sam Edelman heels, below.
