Here's Everything You Should Know About Charlotte Tilbury's New Charlotte Darling Palette
When Charlotte Tilbury is set to introduce a new product, it's bound to give the beauty world plenty to buzz about. And Charlotte Tilbury's Charlotte Darling Palette, which lands on Nov. 7, is sure to be no exception. Why? Because it packages up the famed makeup artist's signature eye look in one six-shade palette that's versatile enough to become a go-to for everyday, special events, and more or less anything in between. At the risk of sounding gushy, if you're looking to buy one new eyeshadow palette, this one should be on your list.
To say Charlotte Tilbury's ever-growing collection of cosmetics is expansive is a borderline understatement — the brand gets a new addition seemingly every other month, especially now with fresh drops for the holidays and expansions on its cult-favorite Pillowtalk collection coming at you in quick succession.
But there's something that does stand out about the line's forthcoming launch. The $55 Charlotte Darling Palette, arriving at Charlotte Tilbury's site and three Beauty Wonderland stores on Nov. 7, is a tight edit of six shades that are significant Tilbury herself and help her to create her own warm, sunset-inspired signature smoky eye look.
“My Charlotte Darling is the perfect synergy of bronzey-gold, peachy-copper shades that create a beautiful painterly light to transform your eyes with GLOW," Charlotte Tilbury said in the official press release, "This archive palette is pure color alchemy!”
Tilbury built the palette with six of her most beloved shades (found across other palettes but never before all together) in sparkly, shimmering, satiny, and burnished textures. The glowy, sunset-inspired curation includes yellow and rose gold shades, terracotta hues, and warm browns, which can be blended to create Tilbury's hallmark smoky eye.
How do you get the look? Combine the second and third colors to create a glamorous rose champagne base, and follow with the fourth hue in your crease with touch of the fifth to add rich smoke. Line the upper lash line with the sixth deep shade in outward sweeping motions, and finish the look with a touch of the first golden hue at the inner corner of your eye. Dust a bit at the brow bone too for a dreamy, goddess-like effect.
The versatile palette can create plenty more looks, from subtle office-ready styles to more sultry, totally smoked-out evening vibes. Tilbury names five she has come up with herself, but the options are numerous — despite having just six shades to work with.
Though you can't get your hands on the Charlotte Darling palette quite yet, you can enter a competition on Charlotte Tilbury's site now for a chance to win it. Otherwise, set your calendar to scoop it up on Nov. 7.
