Although each season comes with its own set of trends, fashion has arrived at a point where the rules don’t apply. Sure, there are always particular silhouettes or aesthetics that stand out more than the rest. However, there has been a melting pot of styles seen in 2019’s biggest sartorial moments, and much of that can be credited to a handful of today’s up-and-coming designers. If you’ve been keeping an eye out on the latest trends and have been wanting to add a piece from these of-the-moment labels into your wardrobe, you’re in luck: There are plenty of emerging brands at The RealReal just waiting to join your closet.

These days, it’s hard not to stumble upon new, need-to-know designers. Whether it’s by way of falling down an Instagram rabbit hole or reading up on the labels every editor is obsessing over, there are some brands that you just can’t miss. That said, among all of these emerging designers are a small group that every fashion lover wants to get their hands on. Per The RealReal’s Luxury Resale Report for 2019 — which provides data on the retailer’s market trends — shoppers have been searching the most for STAUD, Khaite, Totême, Rejina Pyo, and Sandy Liang according to YoY search data.

It’s no surprise that these five brands — which each happen to be led by women — have been ranked as the most popular emerging brands. After all, STAUD — which tops the list with an 850 percent increase in YoY search growth — has quickly become one of the leading labels to pioneer trends each season. With iconic bags like the $345 Moreau Leather Bucket Bag, along with its Instagram-worthy clothing, STAUD is hands down one of the most popular brands of the moment.

If you’re looking for timeless pieces to keep in your wardrobe for years, be sure to add Khaite into your cart, stat. Style the brand’s Wool Zoe Sweater, which is available for $245, with everything from a pair of wide-leg jeans to a cream-colored slip skirt. Just in case you want another option, look to Swedish brand Totême. Its Long-Sleeve Button-Up Top costs $55 and will be one you can turn to any time you’re at a loss for what to wear.

More likely than not, you’ve come across your favorite It girls wearing pieces from Rejina Pyo and Sandy Liang. These undeniably cool designers, which have gained an enormous level of attention over the past few years, are shaping today’s definition of fashion. Wear Rejina Pyo’s $425 Strapless Maxi Dress with a pair of block heel mules while it’s still warm. And for your nights out, nothing will put you in the mood for dancing quite like the $145 Sequined Sleeveless Top from Sandy Liang.
