Consumers will spend up to $7.5 billion on Black Friday this year, according to Adobe Analytics. And though my job affords me access to test out many of the best beauty products out there, I still can't help but reinvest my hard-earned money back into the beauty market. Though the logical adult in me should be investing in, oh, an Instant Pot — or perhaps a vacuum cleaner — I'm keeping an eye out on Black Friday deals on luxury beauty products that I can't stop recommending.
As a beauty editor, some of the most commonly-asked questions I get involve product samples — particularly the volume that I get per day. I'm fortunate in the sense that testing beauty products are a part of my job description (I aim to try at least one new launch per day), but that doesn't mean that I'm immune to running into Ulta to re-up on red lipstick, or that I don't take advantage of the blessed Sephora VIB sales (because who wouldn't?).
I'm definitely using my day off to do my part and help the economy — like stocking up on my favorite Pat McGrath lip gloss — my absolute, desert island essential — or treating myself to some fancy Diptyque and Byredo candles. I might even go wild and purchase a 3.4 ounce La Mer moisturizer... especially because I've been rationing off my sample for a couple of months now. The possibilities are endless. Just say a prayer for my bank account.
