Alexander Wang Proves ’90s Grunge Can Be Chic

We’ve been feeling the ’90s grunge vibe for a while now, but if there was ever a moment we were on the fence, Alexander Wang’s Spring 2016 runway show sealed the deal. Wang’s vision of modern grunge has a sophisticated edge making this feel fresh rather than kitschy. There was a California vibe—think Venice Beach skaters—with low-slung pants and distressed denim cutoffs alongside classic slip dresses paired with bombers and sneakers.
