Street Style Round Up: Festival Edition

Dave Mangels

The sun-filled desert-romp that is the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, finished its second weekend yesterday evening (in case your instagram feed hadn’t already filled you in). To commemorate the 6 days of non-stop music, parties, and fashion parades, we present our roundup of the best concert-goer looks from the polo fields. Because its not only the artists and celebrities who look awesome.

Uncommon Romper

Sure, a romper and a floral headband isn't breaking the mould, but we love the deep-pink color combination and minimal extras of this look.

Pop Socks

Note the pops of red on the dress, lips and socks of this stylish attendee. Extra points for wearing the sheer trend in the most demure way.

Channeling Cher

If you haven't already been convinced that vertical stripes are slimming, allow this '70s-inpsired jumpsuit to persuade you. We also adore the hip-grazing locks and white sunglasses - there's not a neon in sight.

All Black

Pulling off all-black in the desert without looking like a death metal back-up singer is a bit of a challenge. But this floaty tank-dress paired with gladiator flats and tousled locks, looks breezy and feminine.

Tie-Dye For

Spotting a good tie-dye look at Coachella is about as difficult as finding a matching pair of shoes at a sample sale. We applaud this style star for layering her light, tie-dye duster over a cute, black bralet-and-shorts combination and topping it all with a wide-brimmed hat. The overall effect is modern bohemian, rather than wannabe hippie.

Biker Fringe

Model Poppy Delevingne (right) channeled rocker-chic at a poolside brunch by wearing her fringed leather Superdry jacket with a high-waisted bikini, floral headband, and a fuschia lip.

Flower Child

Crop-tops were everywhere at Coachella (no surprises there), but this girl managed to achieve the same impact without exposing her midriff. A floral bodysuit and black zippered shorts, paired with minimal makeup and a topknot, prove to be a great way to tackle the desert heat.

Tropicana

Harley Viera-Newton put her own stylish spin on the matching separates trend, by wearing an oversized tropical-print shirt over a matching shift dress. She dressed up the Topshop ensemble with bubblegum-pink sunglasses and a mini Chanel Boy Bag.

Graphic

In a sea of floral prints this graphic, black-and-white ensemble really stood out. The simple, paper-thin top, open-toed wedges, and pendant necklace allow the striped pencil skirt and sunglasses do the talking.

Boho Chic

Model Alessandra Ambrosio effortlessly parted the crowds in tan suede shorts, a billowing paisley blouse, and (what else?) bare feet. She completed the ensemble with stacked bracelets and a glowing tan.
