Top Trench

Today marks the CFDA Awards, which is sort of like the Oscars to the fashion world. Kind of a big deal. There are so many insanely talented nominees in various categories that I cannot express favoritism to just one in today’s Report. Instead, I have chosen to celebrate Michael Kors’ Lifetime Achievement Award by spotlighting this gorgeous Metallic Trench from his Spring 2010 Collection.

Though I have already declared my deep love of the trench coat silhouette once this season—see Roland Mouret’s Centaur Trench—Michael Kors’ interpretation deserves its own special mention. Don’t you agree?
