Hillary Clinton Ditched Her Pantsuit For This Unexpected Piece

by Samantha McDonald

For the first time during the election season, Hillary Clinton wore something other than her usual pantsuit—and it wasn’t just any typical outfit. The Democratic presidential nominee arrived at the Alfred E. Smith charity dinner in a bold fuchsia Ralph Lauren gown, complete with layered ruby necklaces and diamond studs. As expected, the Internet went crazy.

The floor-length dress marks the fifth consecutive time the designer has dressed Hillary, starting with her appearance at the Democratic National Convention and the presidential debates. But this hot pink number undoubtedly set her apart from the crowd at the white-tie affair. (Maybe a hint for what to expect at future state dinners?) Always stealing the show, Hillz.
