With the start of Paris Fashion Week today, we asked our editors: If you could have any accessory from a French fashion house or a brand that shows during Paris Fashion Week, what would it be? Since some of the best loot in the world comes out of the French capital, this wish list came together in lighting speed (clearly nobody had to think twice). The answers reflect the eclectic style of our office—which we’d like to think is très chic!
"These go with literally everything I want to wear this spring: culottes, a cropped tux, vintage denim, an embroidered maxi-dress and gingham anything."
Editorial Manager, Nicola Deam
"Rings are the easiest accessory to make your trademark—just find a good one and never take it off. Choosing a dainty style allows for endless stacking opportunities."
Stephanie Montes, Beauty Editor
Louis Vuitton Booties
"I love Nicolas Ghesquière's eye for detail, color and the way he seamlessly fuses art, design and fashion. I would love to add these heels to my growing metallic boot collection—although they're so special I'd be scared to wear them out!"
Christian David, Art Director
"The Chanel Boyfriend bag is a modern-day classic. It will never go out of style. I'm a sucker for anything Chanel, but the sturdy hardware and bold look of this purse just speak to me. And the fun hue makes it an outfit game-changer."
Sari Anne Tuschman, Editor-At-Large
"This watch has a little door over the face so it doubles as a studded bracelet for when time doesn't matter."
Shannon Nash, Fashion & Beauty Editor
"Minimal sculptural accessories stand the test of time—this Chloe bracelet goes with absolutely everything."
Jennifer Ash, Accessories Editor
Saint Laurent Bag
“I’ve had my eye on Saint Laurent’s mini bucket bag since I saw it pop up on the street-style scene last Fashion Week. That coupled with the fact that I’m obsessed with all things fringe has catapulted it to the top of my wish list."
Kristi Mikesky, Fashion & Beauty Editor
Vintage Dior Turban
“How incredible is this vintage Dior lamé turban? I’m envisioning it poolside in Palm Springs with a bikini and flowing caftan. Hey, a girl can dream.”
Jaclyn Decell, Community Manager
"Sometimes I daydream about being a much more chill and tanned version of myself, especially around spring or while listening to “Right Down The Line” by Gerry Rafferty on the ride home from work. In the daydream I'm wearing these epic Valentino sandals and some sort of boho minidress, holding my baby Nico (he's real) in my Topanga Canyon house (not real)."
