As part of Teen Vogue‘s September issue, which is built around the theme #ForGirlsByGirls, the magazine’s editors paired up actress Amandla Stenberg with Gloria Steinem for a candid discussion about feminism. Both big proponents of the cause, 17-year-old Stenberg and 82-year-old Steinem bridge the generational gap in their talk, which encompasses self-acceptance, race, gender identity and how people with binary views are becoming less in number.
