Some of Hollywood’s brightest stars took a break from NYFW to turn up on the other side of the pond today for the BAFTA Awards, one of the season’s biggest nights. While it must have been quite chilly outside of London’s Royal Opera House as they made their way down the red carpet, BAFTA nominees, presenters, and attendees didn’t let any discomfort show despite bundling up between interviews and photos. Perhaps that’s due in part to the fact that many of those nominated–including Idris Elba, Eddie Redmayne, Maggie Smith, and Kate Winslet–are native to the UK, though even the non-locals looked resplendent on what is often one of our favorite carpets.
