Jennifer Lawrence Is A Staunch Supporter Of Planned Parenthood

For her February cover issue, the actress tells Glamour what Planned Parenthood has meant to her:

"Planned Parenthood is so much more [than abortion]. My mom was really religious with me when I was young. She’s not so much anymore. And I wouldn’t have been able to get birth control if it weren’t for Planned P. I wouldn't have been able to get condoms and birth control and all these things I needed as a normal teenager who was growing up in a Jesus house." She further vocalized her support for the organization, saying "But seriously. What harm comes from supplying people with birth control, condoms, Pap smears, and cancer screenings?"

Preach, J.Law. Read more of her inspiring interview here. [ Glamour ]

"This is something we've been trying to develop, & finally have dedicated space & volunteer stylists to help empower their clients [with] fashion. A lot of people think fashion is petty—but don't underestimate the value that wearing gender-affirming clothing can have on an individual!"
