Gigi Hadid is no slouch—the career-driven 21-year-old has fronted countless campaigns and teamed up with Tommy Hilfiger for a line all her own, and now she’s taking her relationship with Maybelline to the next level. As the face of the mega beauty brand, the It model is in talks to develop her own products (look out Kylie Jenner), according to Maybelline VP Steven Waldberg. “She’s young. She’s beautiful. She’s very motivated. She’s designing product in collaboration with a lot of other brands, and we’re hoping to do a lot more with Gigi,” he said. “She’s someone that I think a lot of young girls relate to and look up to.”
While it remains to be seen if Gigi will launch a full-blown line or focus on a few favorites, we’re sure that whatever she chooses will be as coveted as her street style and will bring an exhilarating energy on par with her recent beauty looks. “Since I started working with Maybelline, I’ve tried to be more adventurous with my makeup, and that comes with a lot of teamwork with my beauty team,” she said. “We send mood-board texts and really try to do fun things.” Your move Gigi, we’re waiting with bated breath.
