This Actress Is Bringing Charlie’s Angels Back To The Big Screen
It's been a while since we first met our favorite badass female trio, but it looks like the next best thing is about to happen: Charlie's Angels is getting a remake, and Elizabeth Banks will be hopping in to the director's chair to take it to the big screen.
Starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu, the 2000 movie (and its 2003 sequel) was actually a reboot of the original 1976 TV series with Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson. While we have yet to hear who will be filling the coveted spots of the three crime-fighting heroines this go 'round, Sony Pictures did tease us by providing a release date: June 7, 2019.
As soon as we get our eyes on more deets, you'll hear from us.
