We thought Britney would be the highlight of tonight’s VMAs, but it appears we were wrong. Not one to be upstaged, Beyoncé pulled a signature boss maneuver by bringing Blue Ivy to the carpet—a move she likely knew would put headlines back where they belong. There’s so much to say about these two and their outrageous ensembles (Beyoncé’s is Francesco Scognamiglio), but our favorite part of the whole scene is what’s happening south of Blue Ivy’s ankles. Sorry, Brit. We love you, and we can’t wait to watch you perform, but we’re pretty sure this is going to be the most memorable moment of the night.
