When it comes to 19-year-old supermodel Bella Hadid, we definitely feel like the whole “we’ll have what she’s having” concept applies. Literally, the girl could tell us she drinks self-tanner for breakfast and we’d get on board. So when we saw that The Coveteur recently talked to the young beauty about her fitness routine, among other things, we couldn’t help but be all ears. Turns out, it wasn’t what she’s doing to get in shape that caught our attention (the answer to that is, basically, genetics), but rather the wellness ritual she engages in every AM, first thing, to ensure good health. “When I first wake up in the morning, I always have my lemon water. It just feel a little healthier than drinking regular water,” she said. “I feel better when I have a lot of greens and drink juices. When I eat badly for a while, I need to do a Monday-Wednesday cleanse to be able to flush everything out and detox.”
We can definitely get behind adding lemon to our water if it’s going to help us imitate the flawless Bella in any way, and a Monday to Wednesday detox sounds (potentially) doable as well. “I’ve done some crazy shit,” she elaborated. “This lemon cayenne juice cleanse is next level. It doesn’t sound crazy and then once you’re in it and you’re like, ‘What is life? What is going on?’” Stars… they’re just like us!
