Why You Should Care About Forbes’ Latest Highest-Paid List

We’re constantly hearing about women making history this year, from Simone Biles’ four-gold-medal win in the Olympics to Hillary Clinton taking the presidential-debate stage. Now it’s Amy Schumer’s turn. She just became the first woman ever to land on Forbes‘ highest-paid comedians list. The actress and stand-up star ranks fourth this year, just below Kevin Hart, Jerry Seinfeld and ventriloquist Terry Fator. Amy earned an estimated $17 million in the last year with her starring role in Trainwreck (which she also wrote), a Super Bowl commercial for Bud Light, an $8 million book deal and the success of her award-winning TV show, Inside Amy Schumer.
