We’re celebrating Italian film goddess Sophia Loren on her birthday by recreating three of her most showstopping makeup looks. Whether you’re taking a day trip this weekend or planning an evening on the town, these classic styles are all the inspiration you need to take your beauty routine to a super-glam new level. The Bold Cat Eye

After you've applied foundation, hide dark circles with a creamy concealer to make your eyes pop. Starting at the inner corner of eyes, follow the lash line with a liquid liner and extend up and out toward the end of your brows. With an eyeliner pencil, line the lower lashes, starting at the outside corners and stopping three-quarters of the way in. Apply a set of false lashes and coat with a few swipes of mascara. Finish off the look with a soft-colored blush on the cheekbones and a nude lipstick.

The Strong Brow

For the perfect brow, use a sharp eyebrow pencil to create a high arch and define the inner corners. Fill in any patchy areas with an angled brush and a pressed powder. Comb through with a spooley brush and set with a clear eyebrow gel. For a true-to-Sophia look, swipe a coral blush on the cheeks and polish off the look with a bold red lip. Choose a liner one shade darker than your lipstick to add dimension and create a bombshell pout.

The Fresh Face

This encapsulates muted versions of all Sofia's most notable looks. Create a subtle cat eye with a pencil eyeliner, starting three-quarters of the way out from the inner corner and drawing a subtle wing. Curl lashes and apply mascara focusing on the outer corners. Groom brows with an eyebrow powder and a clear gel. Finish with a coral lipstick and add a youthful touch with sheer gloss. Apply a peach blush to the apples of cheeks, dragging out and up toward the temples.
