If there was one thing in the world that could distract me right now from fall fashion, it’s fall beauty. From print texture eyelids at Chanel to dramatic red lips at Givenchy, there is inspiration to be found on almost every runway this season. I am particularly moved by everything NARS had their hand in, with such mah-jor makeup trends as today’s brilliantly bold eyeshadow.
A stunning trio of new shades, NARS introduced Daphne*, Coconut Grove and Mangrove into their cosmetic collection for autumn to help achieve an old-Hollywood meets futuristic aesthetic. How much do you love them? I will definitely dabble into each hue, but I think I’ll start with the dense chocolate finish of Coconut Grove, which was used by NARS’ lead artist, Lisa Butler, at 3.1 Phillip Lim’s F/W Show. Deep browns are a huge fad for the new season, so be sure to try the look out for yourself—with your shadow, nail polish or lip color—and you will knock it out of the park all fall long. xoRZ
