Stick It To 'Em

Last year we learned that Kim Kardashian West was executive producing a new reality television competition. That series turned out to be Glam Masters on Lifetime, where makeup gurus compete for the ultimate prize: a collaboration with Kim on her namesake company, KKW Beauty. The winner turned out to be makeup artist and body-paint expert Argenis Pinal and the KKW Beauty collaboration in question was a set of five gorgeous cream shadow color sticks. After seeing a few teasers of the colors put to the test on Instagram, we had to go ahead and try them out for ourselves.

The five shades included are: Dramatico (matte black), Peshosa (metallic copper), Muyor (matte Burgundy), Comic King (metallic light gold) and Genis (matte turquoise). What makes the color palette unique is that it's both vibrant and moody at the same time, so it gives you a variety of look options. Most importantly, they're actually pigmented so you're not getting fooled upon application with lack of color.

The texture of these little gems is also a bonus in that they aren't drying, despite their matte finish. They're pleasantly creamy and comfortable on the eyes—and the color stays put! As all beauty buffs know, nothing is worse than creasing or smudging eye makeup.

Above all else, these new gems are all about convenience. Shadow sticks take up significantly less space than a palette, making them easy to bring along with you wherever you go. If you're not interested in purchasing the full set, the shadow sticks are also available as singles. The full KKW x Argenis Creme Color Sticks set is available for $80, and the singles retail for $18 each. You can purchase them exclusively at kkwbeauty.com.
