Go Nude (With Your Nails!)

by The Zoe Report

While over-the-top manicures have been going strong the past few seasons, the spring forecast for your fingertips is a big departure from nail art: nude nails! Rocked on the runways of Altuzarra, Alexander Wang and Monique Lhuillier (among others), the look is clean, cool and obviously goes with everything. Get in on the trend now with these barely-there lacquers!

Altuzarra

Naked nails polished off the easy-glamour feel of Altuzarra's spring show.

Get the look:

Apply a base coat of Essie's Vanity Fairest, followed by a coat of Good To Go and a touch of Allure just at the tips.

Monique Lhuillier

A soft, sheer shade sealed the deal on the sophisticated aesthetic of Monique Lhuillier's spring collection, while also balancing out the bold color palette of the show.

Get the look:

Apply one coat of Butter London's Nail Foundation, then two coats of their girlish-chic polish Pink Ribbon.

Alexander Wang

Need the ultimate proof that neutral nails are in? Look to the king of cool, Alexander Wang, whose models also sported pale paws on the catwalk.

Get the look:

Brush on two coats of Essie's Sand Tropez, then one coat of Matte About You for a matte finish.
