Fashion months bring a lot of new trends to the forefront, both on and off the runways and the front row attendees at the Burberry show boasted style icons like Cara Delevingne and Alexa Chung so naturally we were bound to get inspired.
While neither disappointed, we couldn’t help but take note of Alexa’s unique hair clip. Earlier in the week, she attended Ashley Williams’ Spring/Summer 2017 show—where one of the models wore a jewel-encrusted barrette emblazoned with the word ‘Girls’—and Vogue predicted she’d be one of the first to wear the hair trend in real life. Sure enough, they were right. Could this kitschy ’90s spin on past seasons’ sleek barettes be in our future? Judging by how quickly chokers and lip gloss stepped have back into the spotlight, we’d put our money on it.
