Tonight at the US Open in New York, all eyes will be on Serena and Venus Williams as they duel it out on the court. Venus and Serena have played against each other before and always do it in style, but what makes tonight’s match so special? If Serena wins she will be one step closer to winning all 4 of the Grand Slam tournaments within one calendar year. Of course this sounds heroic, but for anyone unfamiliar with what this takes allow us to explain: Serena has already won the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon this year, so it would be history in the making if she also wins the US Open. The last time this happened was in 1988 when Steffi Graf won all 4 tournaments in a row. In honor of the epic match, we styled two winning tennis ensembles—one for each sister.
