Katie Becker is a freelance beauty writer and consultant based in New York City. She has held positions as beauty director and editor at ELLE, Coveteur, Harper’s BAZAAR, and W magazine and written for Allure,, Marie Claire, WSJ, Town & Country, and others.

Before writing about beauty, Katie began her career in health writing, hence her proclivity to spend hours looking up studies in PubMed. She also grew up in Seattle in the ‘90s and early 2000s, making her uniquely informed about frizzy hair products and brow regrowth.
