What more festive way to greet the arrival of spring than with a little wine tasting excursion? It's the perfect way to refine your palette, spend time with friends, and unwind in a beautiful locale. Whether it's for a bachelorette party, vacation with your significant other, or a just-because getaway with friends, it's safe to assume many of you will do a bit of wine tasting this year — but what to wear? Surely, you'll be needing a cute outfit.

Amy Landolt, who is the director of marketing & PR for the Sonoma County Winegrape Commission, has a few key recommendations to consider when assembling your next wine tasting look. "'Wine Country Casual' is a term commonly used in Sonoma County. We're not the place to [wear] your high heels," she tells TZR. "In many tasting rooms, you’ll have the privilege of meeting farmers and winemakers who you’ll find in their denim overalls and work boots." So what should you wear? A casual blouse and jeans or jumpsuit with block heels are the most common picks Landolt shares. "Layers are always recommended as the temperature can change quite drastically from the daytime to dusk as well as where you are in the region," she adds.

Other smart picks include denim jackets, a sun hat, and sunglasses as "many wineries let you picnic in the grass or on outside decks." To help you build out your wine-ready ensemble take a cue from the 10 influencer looks below. Shop your favorite pieces and don't miss the recommended winery-to-visit pairing for each outfit. Cheers!
