Suki Waterhouse’s 2019 Brit Awards Pink Lipstick Is The Shade Everyone Should Own

Share

Whether you're the type of person who spends hours watching detailed beauty tutorials, or you're someone who prefers to save time with a pump of tined moisturizer and a single swipe of mascara, everyone has a go-to when it comes to their makeup routine. If you've been considering adding some subtle variety to your usual aesthetic, Suki Waterhouse's pink lipstick from the 2019 Brit Awards is a great place to start. A soft, rosy nude, this delicate hue is the ultimate finishing touch to any beauty look you can dream up.

Makeup artist and entrepreneur extraordinaire, Charlotte Tilbury, posted a photo of Waterhouse's award show glam on her Instagram on Wed. The look was created by Sofia Schwarzkopf Tilbury, Charlotte Tilbury's niece, for the Brit Awards using products from her aunt's iconic makeup line.

Tilbury created a glowing base that showed off Waterhouse's naturally radiant complexion, specifically focusing on highlighted cheekbones and a pop of shine on the tip of her nose. She then went in with another cult-favorite Tilbury product, Eyes to Mesmerise Cream Eyeshadow in Jean. The flecks of glittery gold on Waterhouse's eyelids beautifully complemented her thick lashes and notoriously fluffy and dark eyebrows.

The standout component of the look, however, was the perfectly muted color that glided along the actor's lips. A blend of Tilbury's lip liner and lipstick in Pillow Talk, this demi-matte finish kept her lips looking soft, hydrated, and silky. Just a touch more vibrant than her natural lip color, Waterhouse's look was completed with a hint of sparkle on her cupid's bow.

A dusty, rose-toned lipstick is a great companion for any eyeshadow. Soften up your smoky eye with a flushed lip, make a sharp wing the focus of your look, or keep it totally minimalistic by partnering the pink lip shade with your favorite BB cream and bronzer.

This versatile lip color can be worn in a multitude of ways depending on your desired finish. Opt for a matte lip pencil for a formal event, try a gloss on a sunny day, or use your finger to lightly blend a satin lipstick into the center of your pout.
