Unsurprisingly, the world took immediate interest in this Markle-approved sneaker brand, with styles flying off the shelves. Markle made her official, royal sneaker debut during her and Prince Harry's 16-day tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and Tong, opting for a pair of V-10 leather trainers by French shoe and accessories brand Veja. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Meghan Markle Effect has provided the eco-friendly brand with tons of exposure. "We actually didn’t know she was planning to wear Veja," Sebastien Kopp, co-founder of Veja, tells The Zoe Report over email. "It’s allowed a lot of people to learn more about our brand and our goals with Veja," Kopp explains, adding that their Instagram even broke down when the Duchess debuted her pair. "We got thousands of likes and comments," he says.
