Some outfits are just too good to only wear once, like Queen Letizia's polka-dot top and trouser combo. Her pretty spotted blouse is starting to become a symbol of warm weather, seeing as she's worn it at the beginning of spring two years in a row. It's easy to see why it's such a staple in the royal's wardrobe.

On Weds., Queen Letizia made her first appearance since returning home from Buenos Aires, where she and King Felipe VI spent some quality time with the president and first lady of Argentina. The reason for the outing was a forum about media and mental health in Madrid.

Her Royal Highness dressed in a black-and-white polka-dot blouse by Carolina Herrera, which she tucked into navy button-leg culottes by her other favorite designer, Hugo Boss. The outfit was a heavenly match: equal parts fun and sophisticated. Maybe that's why she wore it again.

A year ago — almost to the day — Queen Letizia wore this exact outfit to Easter Mass in Palma de Mallorca. She paired the ruffle-sleeved silk blouse with a springy pink quilted handbag by Uterque. Her latest event, however, called for her more serious black Loewe bag and Magrit shoes.

But Easter wasn't even the first time the royal wore this versatile top. She originally debuted it under a navy-blue pantsuit (also reportedly by BOSS) in Feb. 2018. It's no wonder why Queen Letizia keeps the blouse in rotation. You can pretty much pair it with anything.

Polka dots are coming back in a big way. By coincidence, Carolina Herrera's Spring 2019 collection is absolutely spilling over with the fun print. Fellow royals Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle certainly haven't been shy to sport them.

Queen Letizia's chic and trendy top is right up the royal's alley. Her exact blouse is now sold out, but you can get the look with these similar styles, ahead.
