H&M’s New Fall Conscious Collection Is Already Selling Out — Here’s What To Buy Before It’s All Gone

Amidst the rise of environmentally conscious apparel lines, some high street brands have followed suit and made efforts to create more sustainable offerings. One such brand is H&M, a long-time favorite for fashion girls who want what's current at affordable prices. Now, H&M's new fall conscious collection has just dropped some seriously dreamy pieces, all manufactured from recycled and innovative materials.

The new drop, called the Conscious Exclusive Fall Collection, found inspiration in global-inspired textiles and prints; as a result the pieces evoke a distinctly vintage feel, despite being hewn from newly developed fabrics like recycled cashmere and velvet made from recycled polyester.

Ethically-minded shoppers have already been scooping up the collection since its Sept. 27 launch on H&M's site, causing multiple items to reach sell-out status in mere hours. Among the products already gone are these statement-making $35 Large Clip Earrings in the white colorway (you can still get them in dark red), and navy blue Wide-Leg Velvet Pants for $99.

Many of the sustainably-made pieces seem made with party dressing in mind, evident via the ample sequin, ruffle, and tulle elements incorporated. This Sequin-Embroidered Jacket for $299 can be thrown over black office separates to dash away for a dinner, and this $399 Dress with Tulle Skirt could easily be worn to a winter wedding.

Don't hesitate to shop some of the best Conscious Exclusive pieces below before others beat you to stocking up on these environmentally-friendly garments.

Large Clip Earrings

The deep red color of these stunners evokes a look of actual rose petals dangling from the ear. Wear with an off-shoulder sweater or party dress for an ethereal look.

Sequin-Embroidered Jacket

Vintage-looking in all the right ways, this sequin covered jacket looks right out of a designer consignment store. Wear over an LBD or a simple blouse and trousers for wow-factor.

Dress With Tulle Skirt

The structured bodice and contrasting tulle skirt give this dress dreamy, almost fairy-tale, vibes. The dark, moody blue makes it mature, and ideal for evening events or a winter wedding.

V-Neck Cashmere Sweater

Consider this sweater not only because of the innovative recycled cashmere (made of discarded fabric fibers from clothing factories), but also the trend-friendly mauve hue. The relaxed fit could be paired with tailored pants for the office, or your favorite jeans on the weekend.

Silk-Blend Scarf

This silk-blend scarf looks like you found it in the back of your mom's closet – in the best possible way. The detailed pattern and fringed tassel edge hark back to vintage (and super-expensive) designer scarves, so at $60 this style is a steal.

Velvet Skirt

This velvet mini skirt is ready to elevate outfits on crisp fall days. The gentle drape detail on the front and dusky pink color gives the recycled-material skirt a feminine touch. Wear with a silk camisole and jacket now; add in tights and slouchy boots as temperatures continue to drop.

Silk-Blend Dress

Thanks to eco-friendly Tencel® lyocell and recycled silk, this short, patterned mini dress has a metallic sheen. The long sleeves with a bell flounce and sweet tie detail at the color give this dress a flirty energy.

Slingbacks With Ties

Meet the only shoe you need for winter parties. The recycled polyester fabric has been made into a jacquard-style weave, and the elastic sling-back strap is supported further by a wide grosgrain ribbon to wrap around the ankle. Pairs equally well with flouncy dresses or suiting separates.

Dress With Lace

One of the collection's most versatile pieces, this short dress can be worn alone or layered over trousers to make it work-appropriate. The cap sleeves and tie at neck have a classic feel, while the unique orientation of the lace panels provides modern appeal.
