A slew of stars spanning entertainment and fashion stepped out in New York City on Sat. to celebrate the marriage of designer Marc Jacobs and Char Defrancesco, and there were so many epic looks to see. Everyone from Naomi Campbell to Kaia Gerber hit up the snazzy soiree, bringing their fashion A-game for the love-filled event. Unsurprisingly, both Hadid sisters were among the head-turners style wise, and Gigi Hadid's black hat signals that fedoras may finally be making a comeback.

Dressed in an olive green suit, a sparkly sheer top, and a boxy yellow handbag, the eldest Hadid sister took an unconventional route for wedding attire, making a case for power suits for formal occasions. Rounding things out with black pumps and the statement millinery, Hadid brought back the brimmed hat that was everywhere in the early 2000s, but has since gone under the radar. Despite its track record, the staple accessory looked fresh with Hadid's sandy blonde waves cascading down.

Bella's look was also unexpected, with the model making a nod toward menswear with oversized trousers, offset by a plunging corset top and Louboutins. Bella was also switching things up in the beauty department, donning waist-length extensions and face-framing fringe. Whether you've got a special occasion coming up, or your closet is just due for a revamp, it's worth infusing some menswear-inspired pieces into your spring style edit. And if you're feeling bold, borrow Gigi's accessory pick and resurrect fedoras for the season.

Despite the fact that pretty much every celerity ever rocked the hat at one point or another throughout the early aughts, the style was borderline shunned after hitting a fever pitch as a staple of whacky 2000s fashion. Well, that might be about to change, because in true Hadid fashion, Gigi is causing everyone to take a pause to reconsider the retro accessory after all.

Whether you're going for a menswear-inspired vibe like Gigi, or are trying to balance out a flowy floral dress for a bohemian moment, the fedora might be a sound addition to your look. Give the style another go and shop The Zoe Report's picks for the hotly debated accessory, below.
