Known for her classic style and love of minimalism, it's no surprise that Gwyneth Paltrow's pink dress was pulled straight from the pre-fall runway of Paris Fashion Week. Although pink is primarily known as a spring and summer color, the actor opted for the coolest salmon shade on Tues. evening, and it's practically made for livening up a winter wardrobe. Paltrow's latest look is going to make you want to shop all things pink, and fast.

The actress donned an effortless red-carpet look while attending the Wall Street Journal Tech D.Live in California on Nov. 13. The salmon-colored Hermès midi shirt-dress (which features rolled-up sleeves, a slightly reflective fabric, and a buttoned collar) debuted during the brand's pre-fall show in Jan. 2018.

Paltrow elevated the minimalistic style with a pair of PVC statement pumps with black bows and white embroidery. The Goop founder styled her hair in loose, undone waves for a relaxed vibe, and opted for a makeup look that accentuated her naturally flushed cheeks, glowing skin, and piercing blue eyes. She topped it all off with a set of metallic bangles in black and gold for a look that was equal parts easy and elegant, true to Paltrow's usual aesthetic.

Although Paltrow styled the dress in a laid-back fashion, it looked extremely different when it made its way down the Paris runway. The Hermes model wore the dress with the sleeves rolled down and the top unbuttoned, creating a baggier effect. Her waist was cinched in a brown leather belt that worked double duty by keeping her fur neck scarf firmly attached to her body. Rather than a pair of cutesy pumps, the model wore high suede boots that made the look even more appropriate for cold-weather conditions. A few simple styling choices prove how versatile a single piece can be.

This isn't the first time a celebrity has strayed from the runway version of a designer style. Priyanka Chopra recently put her own spin on a monochrome skirt and top combo by Akris, and Meghan Markle wore a Veronica Beard runway look with subtle tailoring.

While we often shop for the seasons, straying from breezy dresses in the winter, Paltrow proves pink should be a staple in your closet all-year long. Layer the hue under a cozy scarf and add a pair of warm boots on a freezing cold afternoon, or pair it with sandals or pumps when the weather gets warmer.
