Gwyneth Paltrow Thinks Some Wellness Trends Are Just As Wacky As You Do
If we’ve said it once, we’ve said it 100 times: we love learning all about the occasionally miraculous, occasionally head-scratching (but we’ll try ’em anyway) wellness and beauty practices on Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle site, Goop. While most of us probably imagine this ladyboss as being the epitome of a holistic and alternative way of life (Sex Dust lattes included), as it turns out she can be just as taken aback by some of the things featured on the site as the rest of the world. Last night when Paltrow stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote Goop’s new line of vitamins, the host brought up a few of the most controversial practices—namely earthing, squatting, and jade yoni eggs—and Gwyneth proved (once again) she’s still a mere mortal and giggled at the inherent wackiness of the subjects. “I don’t know what the f*ck we talk about,” she said while trying to explain the concepts, and she even admitted to still needing to give some of them a try.
We don’t know about you, but the fact that Gwyneth is as curious about alternative wellness trends as she will willing to laugh at herself for trying them only makes us adore her more. Watch the hilarious moment below and please excuse us while we walk barefoot on the grass for a bit (it couldn’t hurt, right?).
