Bagels and coffee are such an obvious combination, we’re honestly surprised it took until 2017 for someone to combine them into one unit. Luckily for all of us sleep-deprived, under-caffeinated carb lovers, the geniuses at Einstien Bagel Co. (see what we did there?) have figured out that coffee bagels—not a freaking unicorn frappucino—are what the people need. See, these bagels don’t just taste like coffee. No, that would be too easy. Each Espresso Buzz Bagel actually contains 32 milligrams of caffeine. Holla. (It also has 13 grams of protein, if you’re into that sort of thing.)
Now, 32 milligrams is only about a third of the caffeine you’d find in a cup of coffee, so you’d either have to eat multiple bagels (not mad about it) or drink coffee in addition to the bagel (still not mad about it) to get your full caffeine fix.
The only question left is: What kind of schmear pairs best with a coffee bagel?
