New Year’s Cocktails In Pantone’s Colors Of 2016

To ring in the New Year properly, you need 2 things: delicious drinks (obviously!) and a color scheme that celebrates Pantone’s reigning hues. We tapped the mixology experts at the Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort to create party-perfect cocktails in 2016’s shades of Rose Quartz and Serenity. Stir these up and keep the recipes in your back pocket for future fetes, all year long.

Wailea Spritz (Rose Quartz)

1 1/2 oz. Lillet Rosé 1/2 oz. Plymouth Gin 1/2 oz. grapefruit juice 1/4 oz. simple syrup 1 bar spoon Campari Ice Brut Champagne Choice of garnish

Pour first 5 ingredients into a shaker. Shake and strain into a Champagne flute over fresh ice. Top with Champagne and add a garnish of your choice.

Blue Hawaii (Serenity)

1/4 Lemon 1/4 oz. Simple syrup 1/2 oz. Blue Curaçao 1.5 oz. coconut cream 1 oz. pineapple juice 1 1/2 oz. El Dorado Crushed ice Coconut chips, for garnish

Pour first 6 ingredients into a shaker. Shake and strain into a martini glass over crushed ice and rim with coconut chips.
