How To Put A Royal Spin On Bohemian Style

by Shannon Nash

The only thing better than psychedelic floral prints is a princess wearing said floral prints. The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out in a fabulous silk tiered gown by buzzy Brit designer Erdem, who is known for his extraordinary futuristic prints. She looked surprisingly relaxed and gorgeous in the midst of a very busy month—including her state dinner tiara moment and glamorous red-carpet appearance at the premiere of Spectre. This particular gown—inspired by ’60s Japanese prints—has convinced us to find a place for florals in our fall wardrobe. The key to success: Find iterations in moody navy, violet and oxblood so the overall vibe is romantic and polished, not summery. This elegant ensemble caught Rachel Zoe’s eye, making it the #OOTD.
