Still Chic After All These Years: Versace Then And Now

by Shannon Nash

The Versace Fall 2015 runway show (presented today in Milan) gave us exactly what we’ve come to expect from the iconic fashion house: jewel-encrusted cocktail dresses, head-to-toe monochromatic outfits and provocative tailored suits. Since ultra-glam sex appeal has been the mantra of Versace since its inception, we pulled five incredible Versace looks from the ’90s worn by the supermodels that defined the era (the women known simply by their first names: Naomi, Cindy, Linda, Christy and Claudia). The vintage images are paired with looks from today’s runway show, exemplifying that Versace is as good now as it was then.
