Duchess Kate And Princess Charlotte’s Coordinating Looks Are Giving Us All The Feels
Matching with your little one can often come off as super-cheesy—unless, of course, you’re Kate Middleton (or Beyoncé, obviously). The stylish royal is one of the very few who can make coordinating mommy-and-me outfits seem not only bearable, but also kind of amazing. Case in point: her and Charlotte’s bright pink ensembles at today’s Trooping the Color parade, an annual event to celebrate the Queen’s birthday. Richer than the millennial pink that was previously dominating, the hue made Kate’s Alexander McQueen dress and Jane Taylor hat a cheerful standout. If Kate and Charlotte’s totally on-trend color choice (which we’ve seen on tons of runways, including Emilio Pucci, Celine and Gucci) was a conscious move to make this a more joyful occasion in the wake of so many recent tragedies, we’ve got to give it to her—it sure put a smile on our faces.
