Natalie Portman announced today that she won’t be attending the Film Independent Spirit Awards or the Oscars this weekend. The actress, who’s nominated for her role in Jackie, told The Hollywood Reporter, “Due to my pregnancy, I am unable to attend the Film Independent Spirit Awards and the Academy Awards. I feel so lucky to be honored among my fellow nominees and wish them the most beautiful of weekends.” Could this be the beginning of labor? We hope so, and we wish her the best of luck this weekend with both her pregnancy and her nomination.
