We’ve already caught a glimpse of some of the other fashions from the upcoming live-action version of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast—including that iconic yellow dress — and now we might have seen another stunning creation by costume designer Jacqueline Durran: Belle’s wedding dress, as worn by the film’s star, Emma Watson. The preview came courtesy of some packaging for a Belle and Prince set of dolls, and Disney has reached out to several outlets to clarify that the romantic, rose-covered ivory gown is actually the character’s “celebration dress.” We’ll have to wait until March to know for sure if this is the dress that Belle wears down the isle (a wedding is a celebration, no?), but at least we know we’ll be seeing this gorgeous design on the big screen — and that’s good enough for now.
