Behind The Scenes At Rachel Zoe's Fall 2016 Collection

Rachel's collection was inspired by elements of '30s glamour and the deviance of the '90s. “I found similarities between imagery of Marlene Dietrich, the actresses of the ‘30s and the iconic black and white photographs of supermodels in the ‘90s," said Rachel. "There is a certain confidence and sexiness in how women carried themselves in both eras that I think every woman wants to embody”

Working with the team at TRESemmé, Rachel tried a myriad of hair styles on models before landing on the final look.

The sultry collection includes silk and velvet loungewear, fil coupé, lace and pearls with hints of menswear.

Aiming for effortless and glamorous makeup, Rachel, Lyne Desnoyers and the M·A·C PRO team landed on a stained burgundy lip, fresh skin and a naked eye. Deep red nails by Zoya finished each look.

Since winter whites are one of RZ's signature looks for freezing weather, we're thrilled to see this chic monochromatic ensemble in the mix.

Oversized tassel necklaces, bold collars, double cuffs, rows of barely-there strappy heels and '30s t-strap pumps lined the walls at the office.

Hand-beaded lace, pearl-embellished knits and fur-trimmed brocade are just a few of the opulent trappings you can expect to see on the runway.

Julia Rosa decorated the runway with dramatic burgundy amaranth, manzanita branches and moss.
