6 Things A Celebrity Interior Designer Is Buying From Target RN

by Allie Flinn

Target boasts some surprisingly chic home-decor finds. This is both a blessing and a curse—unearthing a great inexpensive piece is always a rush, but wading through extensive options in order to find it can be overwhelming. To save you (and ourselves, TBH) the hassle, we reached out to Cheryl Eisen, founder of Interior Marketing Group. She knows a thing or two about living that luxe life (she designed Kim and Kanye’s $30 million TriBeCa Airbnb, after all). Here, she shares her top Target home-decor picks.

Chic Target Finds

"One of the first things I do when I design or stage a home, especially a rental, is change out standard-issue light fixtures. In a small space, this Sputnik is statement enough to create a hip visual anchor for a small round dining area. In a loft or house, it can transform an ordinary eat-in kitchen from bleak to chic."

"A white area rug adds wow drama to any room. This faux fur option brightens, adds major texture and feels like heaven on bare feet. Trick of the trade: If the size is too small to cover your entire space, tape two to four rugs together from underneath—the high piled threads will hide the seams!"

Target

"The style of this sofa is classic, and the click-back design is perfect for small spaces, converting your living room into a guest bedroom. Apartment dwellers and city dwellers can always use extra space."

"This classic mid-century Danish-style side chair fits with almost any decor. I love to throw a Mongolian pelt on this to give it a textural touch."

"I can't even believe I found this at Target! I bought something just like it for $1,400, and it's one of my favorite pieces. Place it near a lounge chair as a sculptural side table, or throw a pelt on it and use it as an extra seat when you have an unexpected extra guest for dinner."

"I love a good tray! This one with the horse bit says Gucci to me and will give your coffee table a designer look."
