We already knew that Reese Witherspoon would be our dream BFF (don’t pretend you haven’t fantasized about sipping cocktails and having girl talks with her) but maybe we also kind of want her to be our mom? Okay, maybe that sounds weird but not when you consider the super cute relationship she has with daughter Ava Phillippe. Case in point, the totally sentimental post she just shared on Instagram for Ava’s 18th birthday. Below a photo of two when Reese’s mini-me was just a tiny tot, the Home Again actress wrote, “Happy 18th Birthday to my sweet girl @avaphillippe ! Your kindness, grace, intelligence and humor never cease to amaze me. I love you and your HUGE [heart] and I feel so lucky that I get to be your mom,” complete with hashtag #proudmom. Reese also posted a photo of present day Ava, who looked absolutely gorgeous and all grown up—honestly where does the time go? We hope these two are celebrating the occasion together, and given that Reese is serious mom goals, we’re sure she’s making it a special day.
