Updated on February 6, 2018: Just two days after news of her arrival, we have a name for the latest addition to the Kardashian-Jenner clan: Stormi. Yes, Kylie Jenner confirmed the news in the most official of ways, via Instagram. The beauty mogul and reality star posted an image of her little one’s hand wrapped around her finger with the one-word caption, “stormi.” Looks like the youngest Jenner is enjoying the mommy life thus far, and we couldn’t be happier for her.
Original post on February 4, 2018: We’ve been speculating about Kylie Jenner’s alleged pregnancy for what feels like 100 years. Between the vague comments, baggy shirts, and even all the hullaballoo around that potential Christmas card reveal (still not over that epic trolling), it seemed like either the worst kept secret in history or the most grandiose prank. Well, now we know it’s the former. Today, Kylie herself finally posted to social media to not only confirm the birth of her baby girl, but to explain why she’d been so secretive. “I knew I needed to prepare myself for this role of a lifetime in the most positive stress free, and healthy way I knew how,” she wrote in a confessional Instagram post to her followers Sunday. She followed up with a clip of a video that includes incredibly intimate footage, like her baby shower, doctor visits, and even her first time meeting Chicago West.
While we don’t yet know the name of the newest member of this famous family, we’ve learned that Kylie gave birth last Thursday, February 1st and her little lady weighed in at 8.9 pounds.
