5 Reasons We’re Excited For Taylor Swift’s World Tour

For those of you jonesing for a dance party, you should know Taylor Swift’s 1989 World Tour starts tomorrow. Since her live performances are notoriously filled with A-list friends, legendary special guests and insanely impressive dancers, we wanted to give this tour a shout-out and let Tay know we here at TZR are major fans. Here, 5 reasons we are beyond excited for Miss Swift’s world tour kicking off tomorrow in Tokyo.

1) Spectacular Costume Changes

Whatever Taylor chooses to wear on stage, she never disappoints. We hope to see her signature high-waisted hot pants, jewel encrusted minidresses and perhaps a dramatic gown for one of her ballads, ahem "Wildest Dreams." One thing’s for sure, she’ll change at least 10 times!

2) A-List VIP Section

Taylor Swift concert goers always get a sideshow via her A-list besties sitting in the VIP section. Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid and newly minted Victoria Secret Angel Martha Hunt make for quite the impressive cheering section.

3) Special Guest Appearances

Everyone from Carly Simon to J. Lo to Selena Gomez have performed with Taylor as a special guest on past tours. Since she's notorious for welcoming big names to the stage, we hope she sings with Beyonce, Lorde, Sam Smith and many more on this tour.

4) Killer Opening Acts

You’ll want to be on time if you go to a show on this tour—especially since Haim and Vance Joy are the opening acts. There's nothing wrong with being the first one in and last one out!

5) Insanely Talented Dancers

Although we love to see Taylor solo with a spotlight, when she shares the stage, she brings a serious crew of dancers that absolutely make the show. She has an all-dude crew of 12 performers for this tour—our guess is that all of them know how to do a back-flip.
