How To Give Your Nails A Facial

by Stephanie Montes

Typically facials are meant to be done on your face, but we’re taking the concept of this spa ritual from our clear complexions down to our nails. Regardless of how many salon visits we make, we never feel fully satisfied with a wash-and-go manicure session so here, we’re reimagining the traditional facial (you know, cleansing, exfoliating and the occasional mask) and applying what we know to our nails. How’s that for a Saturday to-do?

Step 1: Cleanse

Witch hazel in this cleanser removes dirt and oils on the surface while vitamin E conditions the nail.

Step 2: Oil

Feed your nails and soften your cuticles with a swipe of this nourishing oil.

Step 3: Exfoliate

A dallop of this exfoliator scrubs away set in stains from your last manicure while giving it an overall brighter look.

Step 4: Moisturizer

Shea butter in this hand cream penetrates deep into the nails and nourishes from the inside-out.

Step 5: Nail Mask

This overnight treatment brightens and revitalizes dry, brittle nails.
