EmRata's Emmys Afterparty Outfit Is Sheer Dressing At Its Finest

After the show it's the afterparty. Following a history-making award's ceremony, the 2018 Emmys Afterparties allowed attendees to relax and let down their hair. In some cases, the post-event soirées even called for an outfit change or two.

Whether it was the Governors Ball, Prime Video Celebration, Hulu's gathering, or HBO's A-list bash, there was no shortage of glamorous and celebratory moments to be had post-Emmys. Celebrities used the time to revel in their wins (or mourn their losses) and exchange a few laughs and a dance or two with friends and significant others. With no more speeches to give and no more awards to present, all that's left is a little fun. That fun came in the form of incredible swab bags, craft cocktails, dancing, and several photo ops.

And just when you thought the glam had come to a stop for the evening, attendees like Jonathan Van Ness (of course), Issa Rae, Tiffany Haddish, and Chrissy Teigen delivered and extra dose of sartorial inspiration in the form of stunning party outfits.

Below, check out the afterparty moments that made everyone wish they were aboard the party train.

Emily Ratajkowski

EmRata made quite the appearance at the Prime Video Celebration in a sleek and sheer black off-the-shoulder midi dress. The model coupled the sultry ensemble with equally sexy black strappy sandals and her signature effortless bedhead hair. The best part of this outfit, however, was Ratajkowski adorable drawstring bag that makes for the perfect accessory for fall.

Newton and King both walked away winners at the Emmys and had quite a good time celebrating together at HBO's afterparty. No outfit change is necessary when you've got an Emmy in hand.

After throwing on a metallic off the-shoulder mini and whipping her hair up into a chic topknot, Teigen enjoyed sweet moments with her EGOT-winning husband.

Tiffany Haddish

Haddish slipped out of her stunning multi-colored Prabal Gurung gown and into this sleek aquamarine maxi that featured a super-sexy slit. Topped off with silver strappy sandals, the ensemble was perfect for a party.

Issa Rae

It seems Rae also got the blue memo after the Emmys. She swapped out her Vera Wang Cinderella-like gown for a color-blocked frock that looked incredible on her.

Never one to disappoint in the style department, the hairstylist and Queer Eye cast member changed out of his now-iconic white suit and sheer top combo and into a fringed jersey shift dress. To keep things comfy yet on-trend, Van Ness opted for athletic footwear to take him from party to party.

Emilia Clarke And Nathalie Emmanuel

Game Of Thrones colleagues Clarke and Emmanuel were relaxed and all smiles as they posed for the cameras. Although the actresses chose not to change, their Emmys ensembles were so good, they called for all-nighters.

Taraji P Henson

Henson made a case for pajama dressing, slipping out of her floral event gown and into comfy velvet pants and a printed wrap jacket.
